Samjhauta Express Bombed

The Samjhauta Express — one of only two trains between India and Pakistan and a train that is rich in symbolism in the context of peace talks between the two countries — was bombed yesterday in what was presumably a terrorist attack. So far, 68 people have been reported killed, and evidence of IEDs in suitcases has been found in the wreckage. There is a huge amount of news coverage available: the Indian and Pakistani media are following this story very, very closely, even if you haven’t heard much about it.
