Kettle Valley Railway
I’m doing a little research into the Kettle Valley Railway, a subsidiary of the CPR that operated in southern B.C. Joe Smuin prepared a map, which is available online, for his book about the railway.

My Uncle is trying to find a map that would show the new Coquhalla highway with mileages along with the old KVR. He’s trying to see where the KVR went in comparison to the new highway.
Does the KVR go up and over the summit by the toll gate or does it go around the back side.
Any info or links to more info would be appreciated… Thanks.

The folks behind Canadian Railway Modeller have put out a book, also by Joe Smuin, called Kettle Valley Railway Mileboards: A Historical Field Guide to the KVR. I haven’t seen it (yet), but it’s the best bet I can think of for you.
