That link to Yahoo! GetLocal gives good basics on how this stuff works but make sure you check out the Yahoo! Developer Network Maps site for the real scoop on how you can pick up and use this API. Also check out the Greasemonkey script Avinash Atreya did up to plot Craigslist apartment listings on Yahoo! Maps. The first of many neat things we’ll see come from folks playing with this API.
