Library of Congress Digitizes 10,000th Map
The Library of Congress’s Geography and Map Division is a huge resource of digital images of old maps. On Wednesday they reached a symbolic but impressive milestone: they posted their 10,000 digitized map to their web site: Samuel de Champlain’s 1607 map of the northeastern coast of North America.
