Earth from Space
The Smithsonian’s Earth from Space is an online exhibition of satellite imagery; images include climate, geology and human activity. It’s also a physical exhibition, on a tour that began last month and continues until January 2010. Lesson plans are also available. Via Catholicgauze.

I have seen the Earth from Space exhibit at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
The images are beautiful. The staff at SITES, their traveling exhibit group, did a phenominal job of designing and producing the projects.
The satellite photos of earth are spectacular and the images of the dunes of Yemen are visually exciting.
I would recommend everyone go to Air & Space to see the Earth from Space exhibit.
The designers were 1717 Design of Richmond Virginia (Richmond VA)www.1717design.com and the production was created by Presentation Resource of Richmond Virginia (Richmond VA) www.presres.com.
