3D Buildings in Google Maps
Building outlines for some U.S. cities arrived in Google Maps a couple of months ago; now Stefan reports that the 3D buildings layer from Google Earth has been repurposed for Google Maps, as semi-transparent, oblique building shapes at the highest zoom levels. Something incremental is happening here, but I’m not sure what the final result will be.
