Three Blogs
- Google Earth Design has been around for more than a year, but I’ve apparently missed it until now; the subject of good map design within Google Earth seems a laudable one.
- Ryan Strynatka writes about his blog, The Fiducial Mark: “It’s basically a geospatial blog about mapping, photogrammetry, and the geospatial industry in general. While I write a bit about commercial packages and the company I work for (Leica/ERDAS), it is in no way a commercially sponsored or affiliated blog (it’s me writing on my own time). In general I like to focus on product mapping techniques (e.g. dodging, terrain production, orthorectification) as well as data collection: airborne sensors and various aspects of data capture.”
- Ctrl-N/journal is “Olivier Ruellet’s writings on cities, mapping, psychogeography and the experience of places.”
