The Scotsman has an article on pro golfer and AS sufferer Ian Woosnam that talks as much about the disease as about the man, which is impressive for a sports profile. Usually the disease is summed up in a paragraph or two, and the rest is quotes from the athlete explaining how he handles it; in this case, we actually get a pretty good summary of the disease, its symptoms, its suspected origins and treatment. Articles like these may well be the first time readers hear of AS, so this can only be good.
