Sulfasalazine in early AS without peripheral inflammation
Sulfasalazine may help reduce inflammation in patients suffering from the early stages ankylosing spondylitis or undifferentiated spondyloarthritis, a new study suggest, but only if they are not suffering any peripheral inflammation. For the record, I had peripheral inflammation from the beginning; I wonder how many AS sufferers this would actually apply to.
