Research on AS, exercise and physiotherapy

A recent study by Norwegian researchers, published in last month's Journal of Rheumatology, looked at the efficacy of exercise programs on people with ankylosing spondylitis. From the sounds of it, supervised group physiotherapy may be a bit more effective than the standard individual home exercise program (which I think is what I've been given), and a combination approach ("inpatient hydrotherapy and exercise therapy followed by weekly group physiotherapy") may be better still, though the evidence is described as "moderate-quality."
